#TheCycle is on its way 1-14-14

The Cycle is a 12th month venture through my mind. In the series I'll be dropping 1 single each month on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This will end in one full album & 4 Music videos will accompany the album every quarter. The album will be released as a physical product handmade by me. Collect each song to complete #TheCycle.

Arkansas gets Ranked 20th for its Popular Music Contribution

I wondered around the internets and found this on Complex. My home state Arkansas is ranked 20th for its musical contributions to the nation. We are home to some pretty popular artists like Johnny Cash, Al Green, & Johnnie Taylor. Ol' Bill Clinton wasn't the only thing we got poppin'. You remember his sax performance right?? Too young... damn I'm old. Evanescence got their start here with lead singer Amy Lee coming from the Natural State. Johnny Cash & Al are personal favorites of mine to sample... one of these days I'll make a new beat from their work... gotta get that deal first (talkin' to you Def Jam!).
