i don't normally entertain this but... sometimes you have to clear the air. So anytime someone asks me ever again how, or why i'm verified and they aren't... this is my response.
i'm verified because i spend at least 15+ hours a day: making music, posting music, hosting shows, planning events, booking tours, managing my business, answering emails, shaking hands, kissing babies, & trying to balance a personal life.
i shouldn't have to say this shit. I BUST MY ASS. period.
I was awarded my "Blue Check" last year for what I feel are deserved means. I was featured on MTV's Rap Fix due to endless promotion I did for my first music video "Breakfast & Biggie". I didn't let anyone tell me no and I kept going for over a year. Then one day Sway said T.JAY deserves a spot in the game. That singular moment is what led to me being verified and is what puts me in the same ring as other artist doing this on a daily basis.
No handouts, No favors, No asses kissed. i work.
